Infielder/outfielder Frank Catalanotto says he's “through playing” according to David Lennon of the Newsday. Catalanotto has not officially retired, but he likes his part-time gig with Italy and is in demand for radio/TV adds Lennon.
Catalanotto, 36, hit .160/.192/.200 with 1 RBI in 25 AB's with the Mets in 2010. He has played 12 Major league seasons with the Rangers, Blue Jays, Tigers, Brewers and Mets.
