Quarterback Josh Freeman planned on going out of town during the bye week but awoke Wednesday morning and was ill. He didn't feel much better after watching video of all 10 of his interceptions this season with quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt.
Freeman estimates the picks may have already cost the Bucs a game or two.
"I went back and watched all the interceptions, I watched all the poor decisions,'' Freeman said. "Looking back, we're that close. You say you're that close, but at the same time, you really just can't turn the ball over. There's a number of picks on first down in the red zone and that's completely unacceptable. You look back and we're fortunate to have some of the wins when we turned the ball over in the red zone, but at the same time, looking back, maybe the San Francisco game, those two picks -- you look back and you probably have at least another win, maybe two, if you don't turn the ball over.''
