Good point, that track was paved 32 years ago! With all the activity and money they have made you would think the track would be primo? They could have power washed the pits for this greatly advertised event and safety for these drivers, removing all the spilled oil etc! Thirty two years, hell a driveway would have potholes in that amount of time!

DW, Larry Mc, Jeff Hammond, this is the worst sports crew in the history of sporting events. DW is the sorriest of them all. He does not have the "Buddys" he thinks he has and he and Larry keep saying "We". They are not in NASCAR. DW is the weakest of all. He really sucks and more he talks the dumber he gets.

Agree with nk4111 completely. DW's open cheering for Dale Jr was way out of bounds. He needs to be more discrete about his personal favorites.

DW is the worst commentator ever. The rest aren't much better. I'd like to know how many times Harvick's name was mentioned, yesterday.

DW had the good fortune of being born country and shows it! As a commentator he is as good as any of the others! With three championships and eighty-eight wins he has done more than most! He is alright im my book and you that don't like him, there is a turn down and turn off knob on your TV! Sour grapes is what I'm hearing,if your guy did not win, maybe he is not good enough!Many of them could find other jobs!

Waltrip and McReynolds both sound like they just walked out of a double wide in Appalachia. FOX needs to hire a person that can put together a grammatically correct sentence. Mc's "reach up and tighten those belts boys", and Waltrip's " boogity, boogity, boogity let's go racing" is embarassingly INANE.

I think dw is great one of the top drivers of all time.

FOX, you should really look into reducing the total number of edits per broadcast by HALF. I think we would all enjoy the racing so much more if you just RELAXED and did not cut away every other second. It is clear to me that fast editing DOES NOT enhance the racing nor the overall sense of speed; it is just way too fragmented an experience. No other major sports broadcasts try to be a music video, and neither should you. Since this year NASCAR has brought back a few old-school elements to try and make the product better, consider doing something similar with the broadcasts.

Another good point, lose the tons and tons of graphics, show the race,split the screen and run your damned ads but leave the race on!

I have to go along with this. The only way a fan can hear a good race is to turn the radio on and trun the TV sound off. Far as DW, he needs to go. He has seen his better days

The problem with DW is he is a band wagon jumper. Whoever is successful at the current time is who he is backing. Honestly, I think Fox could find better anaylst instead of those who have favorites...

DW and the crew make me sick. the only part of fox's broadcast that is enjoyable is the "crank it up" portion when you dont have to listen to these idiots ramble on. DW has a bias opinion that he projects on the entire fox audience and im sick and tired of it. 10 years now and i haved reached my breaking point! i will no longer watch nascar until summer when fox is done. MRN radio will have to do until then and i hope others follow suit.

PLEASE!! Get rid of the three talking heads and focus on what is going on in the pits, the fan area outside the stands, whats happening at the airport, downtown Daytona, tell us about the people side of racing ANYTHING but the three talking heads trying to impress us with how much they think they know. I am sick and tired of listening to Hammond talk about the Hollywood Garage and Waltrip just running his mouth. Fox needs to focus more on the activities surrounding the race. There is a hell of a lot going on around the track that most people never get to see.

Somebody is lying to the fans. The talking heads all repeatedly reported that no fans were leaving. Then Monday all the print journalist reported that about half of the fans left. I do not believe DW and Co. any more. His brother is not compitetive any longer but the way DW makes excuses you would never know it.

I can't believe after paying upwards of $180 bucks to go see a race that Nascar, can't fix a pothole. Multiply the $180 bucks times the thousands of people that went to see a race and you can't tell me they don't have the money to fix a pothole. Wrong fox sucks because they want to bring down racing . by tossing money around to get what they want and telling thier annoncers to talk negitive about everything in nascar they will show less and less raceing and thus have more time for the puppy sports they want to show. when I see former and present drivers sitting all dressed up for the dance but nobody wants to go with them I am not impressed. Also if Iwere young I would find it hard to get interested in nascar
