New York Giants
Green Bay Packers
Millikin Big Blue
The New York Giants (7-4) beat the Green Bay Packers (7-4) 38-10, this past Sunday night at MetLife Stadium from East Rutherford, NJ.
Big Blue came out strong this past Sunday night after their much needed bye week. This was the type of game the Giants needed in a good way.
They finally played like the defending super bowl champs and they need to play like this if they are going to win another super bowl again.
The Giants beat the Packers in every aspect of the game and Green Bay had no shot once New York dominated pretty much at every level.
Eli Manning throws were sharp in the entire of the game and that bye week helped him out a lot. He went 16 for 30 with 249 passing yards and threw 3 touchdown passes.
Ahmad Bradshaw had a good game as he had 10 carries for 58 rushing yards and scored a rushing TD. Also, he caught 2 passes for 61 receiving yards as well.
Andre Brown had 13 carries for 64 rushing yards and scored a touchdown. Bad News! Andre Brown's season is over due to a broken left fibula.
Hakeem Nicks was great as he caught 5 passes for 77 receiving yards and scored a touchdown.
Victor Cruz finally got to do the salsa dance as he scored a touchdown and overall he had 3 catches for 36 yards.
Ruben Randle scored his first career touchdown catch for 16 yards. He caught 2 passes for 26 yards.
Martellus Bennett made 3 catches for 44 yards.
Lawrence Tynes made a 43 yard field goal.
Mathias Kiwanuka had two sacks.
Osi Umenyiora had one sack and forced a fumble.
Chase Blackburn and Chris Canty had one sack each.
Corey Webster caught an INT.
The Giants offense had 23 first downs, 390 total yards, went 6 for 12 on 3rd down conversions and went 5 for 6 in the redzone.
The Giants defense allowed the Packers to 16 first downs, 317 total yards, sacked Aaron Rodgers 5 times, forced 2 turnovers and allowed 10 points.
Green Bay entered the game with revenge on their minds when they got beat by the Giants back in the postseason, but they had no Clay Matthews, Charles Woodson, Sam Shields on defense and no Greg Jennings in the passing game.
As soon as the Gaints took total control of this game. The Packers were due to get beat up badly and they got crushed by the G-Men 38-10.
This was a huge win for the Giants who are in first place in the NFC East ahead of two games over the Redskins and Cowboys.
Week 13 (Dec 3rd) - The New York Giants will play the Washington Redskins on Monday night football in FedEx Field at 8:30 pm on ESPN (TV) and WFAN (Radio).

Packers RB Cedric Benson
The Packers’ offensive line was dominated by the New York Giants in week 12, and it won’t be getting any help from tackle Derek Sherrod this season.
Sherrod was retained on the reserve/physically unable to perform list on Tuesday, thus ending his season before it even got started. The team faced a deadline this week to either activate him or stash him...
Tweet Green Bay Packers running back Cedric Benson has been on injured reserve since October with a sprained left foot, but that hasn’t stopped him from making some side money. Per Deadspin, Benson has been DJ’ing around Austin, TX under the moniker DJ World Peace, including a gig at a strip club: According to DJ World [...]
It was once said about Bill Parcells that he wasn’t happy unless something was wrong. He needed to fix something or he was miserable.
The same thing could be said about the New York Giants, every time they seem to get rolling, they stumble only to fix themselves for the better.
Last year’s team that eventually won the Super Bowl had to scratch and claw to make the playoffs...

After suffering a Lisfranc injury in Week 5, the Packers running back has found a creative way to spend his time—moonlighting as a strip club DJ.
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Greg Jennings this week. Clay Matthews next week. Charles Woodson and Cedric Benson in two weeks. If all four Packers stars can reach those projected return dates, Sunday's 38-10 loss to the New York Giants will become a game that won't be representative of the rest of this season.
Very little about Green Bay's most recent effort indicated that the...
The New York Giants signed both RB Kregg Lumpkin and RB Ryan Torain on Tuesday, according to Mike Garafolo and Jason La Canfora respectively.
Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was non-committal when asked whether the Giants would attempt to replace RB Andre Brown, who broke his fibula in a victory over the Packers. “We’ll have to look at that for the next couple days,” said Coughlin...
We love that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers can get into the spirit of Movember and rock a powerful mustache for the whole world to see when he took on the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. What we didn’t expect was for Rodgers to give the viewing audience at home a little taste of Zoolander’s famous Blue Steel.
Of course Movember is when you will see men wear awkward...
Eli Manning threw for three touchdowns, giving him 200 for his career, and the New York Giants sacked Aaron Rodgers five times Sunday night in a 38-10 rout of the Green Bay Packers.
Coming off their bye, the Giants (7-4) put to rest concerns about a dormant offense and a tired arm for Manning. He connected with rookie Rueben Randle, Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks for scores, and Ahmad...
This is not a report card that Packers' players will want to post on their refrigerators as an example of work well done. No, this is the type that gets hidden in backpacks for as long as possible with the hope that, if enough time passes, it can just be forgotten about.
Handing out grades following the Packers' 38-10 loss to the New York Giants:

Good morning! There is really no reason to be up this early.
Martellus Bennett of the Giants saved a falling fan.
We need to end this lock out.The Coyotes need to find something to do.
