Kerry Rhodes had no interest from NFL teams at the beginning of week 2 of the NFL season.
Rhodes could possibly see significant time for a team by the close of week 3. Pro Football Talk is reporting that Rhodes will workout for the New York Giants on Tuesday.
Rhodes had previously received no interest from teams after being released by the Cardinals in March. Some blame it on a decline in his skills.
Other’s believed that Rhodes was asking for to much money.
As we reported on Tuesday, per Deadspin, there was some thought to the theory that Rhodes was being blackballed because of his sexual preference.

The Cardinals have some trickery up their sleeves with cornerback Patrick Peterson. Over the course of the preseason, there was a lot of talk about Peterson helping on the offensive side of the ball. He’s lined up on offense a few times this year, but nothing has really happened until today. Against the Lions with about five minutes left in the third, Patrick Peterson lined up...
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- There were no champagne corks popping in the Cardinals' locker room Sunday evening.
It was important to get a win to avoid an 0-2 hole with two road games on deck. It was nice to get coach Bruce Arians his first victory in Arizona, too. But there are 14 games left in this season, and there is clearly plenty of work still to be done.
"We're not always...
Traveling across the country to win an NFL game isn’t an easy task. When I get off a plane, I barely want to watch to baggage claim, let alone strap on shoulder pads and go run into other grown men.
The Lions traveled to Glendale this weekend to play the Cardinals. Sitting on the west coast is one of the mere reasons the Cardinals win football games. Of course, getting all buddy...
For one possession their last possession the Cardinals offense finally did all of the things it couldn’t for much of Sunday afternoon against the Lions.
They converted on third downs. They made big plays. And they scored a touchdown with less than two minutes left.
That 1-yard scoring run by Rashard Mendenhall gave the Cardinals a 25-21 victory in their home opener at University...
Alrighty then...Here’s Carson Palmer fist bumping a ref after a personal foul call. [Guyism]

After their hard fought and much-hyped battle on Sunday, Patrick Peterson and Calvin Johnson exchanged uniforms following the Arizona Cardinals 25-21 victory. Calvin Johnson dominated Peterson during the game, catching six passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets. Peterson did contribute on offense though, catching one pass for 17 yards and even throwing one pass...
Calvin Johnson carved up Patrick Peterson for six catches and 116 yards on Sunday. Peterson’s Cardinals came away with a win over Johnson’s Lions thanks to a late touchdown run by Rashard Mendenhall.
Apparently, both got over their respective defeats fairly quickly.
Johnson and Peterson exchanged jerseys after the game, ESPN.com reported from Detroit’s locker room. Johnson...
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- A pass interference penalty against Bill Bentley set up Rashard Mendenhall's 1-yard touchdown run with 1:59 to play Sunday as Cardinals beat the Lions 25-21 in Bruce Arians' home debut as coach.
Jay Feely kicked four field goals and Carson Palmer threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to rookie Andre Ellington for Arizona (1-1). Ellington also had a 16-yard...
The Detroit Lions hit the road for a Week 2 match-up against the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday.
While the Lions won their season opener at home they will be looking to avoid a let down against the Cardinals who suffered a close loss on the road last week.
FOX will have coverage of this one beginning at 4:05 pm ET in selected markets. (2:05 pm CT)
On the plus side, it's not interference
10) Kerry Rhodes might be homo- sexual, which could really mess up the music mix in practice
9) Wes Hopkins is retired, Andre Waters is dead, and Brian Dawkins already told them no on general principles
8) Colt Anderson is too important on special teams, which are more fun to watch anyway
7) Earl Wolff spells his name in an odd way...
Detroit Lions (1-0) at Arizona Cardinals (0-1)
The Lions won just 4 games last year despite outgaining opponents by the 2nd most yardage in the NFL, by over 1000 yards. This is largely because they surrendered a ridiculous 70 points on return touchdowns, without scoring once in that fashion. If you take that out of the equation, the Lions would have outscored their opponents on...
