I do understand that it is only August and college football is right around the corner… literally. But on Wednesday, the University of Illinois released the schedule for the Fighting Illini’s upcoming season. And, it is never too early to start talking college basketball.
Illinois’ fans can look forward to another tough schedule this season as Illinois will play 14 games against opponents who played in the NCAA tournament last season. On a positive note, the Fighting Illini will play 16 games at home this season, including the Blue/Orange Scrimmage and two exhibition against McKendree University and Northwood University in Michigan.
