Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, still feeling the aftereffects of Sunday's epic high-scoring showdown that saw their hopes dashed away in the final few minutes, reflected on QB Tony Romo's interception that all but sealed the victory for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos 51-48. Romo has since acknowledged that he just didn't put the ball in the right place...
The Dallas Cowboys announced they have released ten-year veteran S Will Allen.
Allen, 31, signed a one-year deal $905,000 with the Cowboys back in March. Dallas gave him the start in their first two games of the season before turning to J.J. Wilcox.
The fact that Dallas allowed 512 total yards of offense to the Denver Broncos in Week 5, most likely propelled this adjustment to...
Dallas Cowboys fans might say Tony Romo stinks, but the man actually smells great - if you want the other guy to score.
Dallas wideout Terrance Williams put up 151 yards and a touchdown on four catches Sunday against the Broncos.Fantasy Spin:He combined with Dez Bryant for 292 yards and three touchdowns. The 24-year-old rookie out of Baylor has produced 222 yards on 11 catches over the last two games with Miles Austin dealing with a hamstring injury. If Austin is out in Week 6 versus the Redskins...
It might only be the first quarter, but dang Romo is in the zone against the Broncos defense.
The post Tony Romo channels Manziel’s superpowers during this scramble appeared first on The Nosebleeds.
I don’t know how you can watch yesterday’s game and blame Tony Romo for that loss. It’s easy to get caught up in the narrative that Romo isn’t clutch, but to blame is for that loss is idiotic and lazy.
Yet to nobody’s surprise the Romo bashers were out in full force. See here and here.
It’s stupid and moronic, yet it continues. There are plenty of fanbases (Houston...
Matt Millen has four Super Bowl rings from a 12-year playing career that included stops in Oakland San Francisco and Washington. But no one remembers that because of what he perpetrated against the Lionsfor eight years as the team's president. He was known for many things during his tenure in Detroit and none of them good.
- From 2001-2003 the Lions were 0-24...
At the risk of burning you out on statistics from Sunday afternoon that should blow your mind, allow me this one more.
The Cowboys accomplished something offensively on Sunday that is normally reserved for high school and college offenses, but almost never done in the NFL. In fact, in the last 1,000 NFL games played, I only found it one other time (going back to 2010). It is the...
Jerry Jones knows what he has at quarterback.
Tony Romo may not be Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees, but not many are either. What he is without a doubt is a top-notch quarterback who played the game of his life on Sunday before throwing another late game interception.
Romo is who he is, and I think Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is ok with that.
Jones, who may...

Duffy’s Irish Pub in Washington D.C. will give away free whiskey shots every time Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo throws an interception against the ‘Skins.
Those who tuned into the Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos were in for a real treat as both Peyton Manning and Tony Romo lit it up, thoroughly carving up the respective opposing defenses all the way to 48-48 tie in the final minutes.
In the end, the up and down career of Tony Romo took another shot as he tried to fit in a pass to tight end Gavin Escobar and was intercepted by Broncos linebacker...
A lucky man is $54,268.91 richer today after cashing out an 18-game parlay that included Peyton Manning's Broncos winning on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
The man risked just $282.00 and had a 0.0000001469 percent chance of actually winning.
But thanks to Manning, and some extremely close calls in the Texas, Stanford, and Ohio State games, he emerged an improbable...
