Chicago White Sox starter Jake Peavy loves Chicago and love the fans, but Peavy  also knows the reality of his situation with the White Sox. The White Sox have lost seven games in a row and find themselves six games back of the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central Division and can ill afford to fall much further behind the front running Tigers.Peavy  does not have a no-trade clause., so let the trade rumors begin.Would White Sox  trade the veteran right-hander ?White Sox general manager Rick Hahn may not have a choice but to begin selling off  of tradable assets and Peavy is indeed an asset.Peavy  signed a two-year $29 million deal with the team that includes an option for 2015.He is  6-3 with a 3.62 ERA,  on pace for 18 wins and close to 200 strikeouts, all of which makes Peavy an attractive option for teams looking to obtain a veteran pitcher in a pennant race. The White Sox would benefit with the return of  players and prospects Peavy  would surely bring,  setting up a perfect scenario for Peavy to be dealt.“If we’re not in it, I have no problems being moved to a team who is in contention and trying to win a World Series, so I’ll go play anywhere,” Peavy said.
