Hey, do you remember when Jon Jones’ big left toe looked like THIS and you nearly threw up in your mouth? Well, fast forward just a couple of hours and doctors at the local Newark hospital have the reigning UFC light heavyweight king’s piggies all pointing in the same direction again.
“Got my big toe back intact ,” Jones tweeted accompanied with the pic above.
If you like what you see on Jones’ right foot, too bad because the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 (Jon “Bones” Jones edition) sold out in minutes last Friday.
Jones broke his toe at some point during his first round TKO victory over Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 on Saturday night. Despite having his bone pierce through the skin, Jones didn’t realize his toe was pointing east until he started to conduct his post-fight interview.
With the win, “Bones” tied UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz for the most consecutive light heavyweight title defenses in Octagon history with five.
UFC 159 took place inside Prudential Center in New Jersey.

Jon Jones takes in some meetings with his manager Malki Kawa. Despite how you feel about Jon Jones the person the guy is an absolute warrior with an iron will. Have to respect that. Wish him a good recovery and hope to see him back in action sometime later this year.

Jon Jones ended the night in a stool, the victim of one of the several odd injuries at UFC 159.
Fortunately for Jones, he was smiling through the pain with the UFC light heavyweight belt secured to his waist after a first-round TKO victory over Chael Sonnen at Prudential Center early Sunday morning.
Jones appeared to have dislocated the big toe on his left foot.
Nike puts out a commercial for Jon Jones before his UFC 159 match up with Chael Sonnen. Hopefully more and more fighters will start getting Nike deals and the money that comes with it like Jones.

UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones demolished Chael Sonnen by first-round TKO at UFC 159 in Newark, N.J. on Saturday…
There has been so talk about this fight and a lot of trash talk. Mostly coming from the Sonnen camp, Chael is a throwback to P.T. Barnum, he is a barker who promotes himself very well. The big question on everyone’s mind is: Can Chael back up his boastful statements and actually beat the Light Heavyweight Champion in the form of Jon “Bones” Jones?... Read more
Jon Jones had to climb the UFC ranks just like any other young up and comer. We tend to forget that he had seven dominant showings before being rewarded with his title shot against Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua. It was a different kind of climb though. Before the Tonight Show appearance, the Rashad Evans soap opera, and the eventual culmination into a Nike sponsorship - this was...

Reigning light heavyweight king Jon Jones was an astronomical 10-to-1 favorite to dispose of Sonnen at UFC 159, but believe it or not, Uncle Chael was just 27 ticks away from serving up an upset special and taking Jones’ crown on...
“Witness a man’s dream of becoming a champion be demolished.” – Jon JonesUFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and his UFC 159 opponent Chael Sonnen have a great history of exchanging unkind words. When Sonnen made the jump to the light heavyweight division last year, he immediately wanted a shot at the title, because he’s a confident guy and that’s pretty typical...
Speculation is running rampant as Dana White confessed that Anderson Silva called him tonight and asked for a specific fight. GSP? Michael Bisbing? Or is it the super fight with Bones Jones we all want to see? Who knows, but Dana also stressed that Anderson has a fight with Chris Weidman that needs to be taken care of first. Could we see Jones vs Silva in late 2013? We...
Sure, things did get a little messy this past weekend in Jersey. Eye pokes, broken thumbs and toes, technical decisions - basically it was just one of those nights in MMA that no one could possibly prepare for. However, three fighters did stand out about the rest in terms of performance, and ultraviolence. Let's start from the top. 1st Star - Pat 'Bam Bam' Healy ...
