By Gerald Lacey

LEESBURG - Leesburg High School gained National notoriety last season as Noor Davis (Stanford University) won the 2011 High School Butkus award. NFL Hall of Fame Inductee Dick Butkus was there to present the award himself and got chance to meet another future great linebacker in senior Jordan Tucker.
Tucker will continue the tradition of great linebackers this upcoming season for the Jackets.

He has visions of his name being mentioned in the same breath with other great Jacket lineman and linebackers: Trevathan (University of Kentucky, Denver Broncos), Noor Davis (Stanford University), Ty Lawrence (Southwest Baptist University (MO), Valdosta State, 1992 Regional Semifinalist), Wayne
Hamilton (University of Alabama, San Diego Chargers), Greg Johnson (Florida State University, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Colts, Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers), (Henry Wright Parade High School All-American, North Alabama University, UCF), Bubba Pratt (University of Florida), Jimbo Pratt
(University of Florida), Sam Rixie (1969 Class A Football State Runnerup), Darryl Coleman (Denison College), Sam Lewis (Albany State), and David Geiger (Cumberland College, 1992 Regional Semifinalist) to name a few.
