Chris Connolly considers our New York Knicks prospect profile series with a look at Syracuse Guard Michael Carter-Williams. Check our the rest of the series here and give Chris a follow on Twitter  Michael Carter-Williams, a 6-6 point guard from Syracuse, has been on the Knicks radar from day one. His stock has risen significantly over the past few weeks and he will be off the board at the Knicks current #24 pick, but with the Knicks in talks of acquiring the Dallas Mavericks #13 selection he may come back into play. The idea that the Knicks are looking to move up in the draft makes it clear they are eyeing a particular player or two at that spot, and MCW is definitely one of those guys. This past season at ‘Cuse, Carter-Williams averaged 11.9 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.9 boards per game. While MCW only participated in strength, agility, and explosiveness tests at the combine, he was able to open the eyes of many NBA scouts and GMs with his athleticism. His length and overall point...

Steve Novak and Marcus Camby for Drew Gooden. From first look this trade looks bad for both franchises, but if you look under the microscope it makes sense for both New York and Milwaukee. Isiah Thomas Is Still Talking About The Knicks For Some Reason

It's peculiar that Isiah Thomas is still talking about Knicks basketball at this point in time. It's even weirder that some people (apparently those who write for publications) care so much to hear his opinion.Thomas has "friends" in the Knicks' organization, from owner James Dolan, to college buddies Glen Grunwald and Mike Woodson. Being friendly on a personal...

Isiah Thomas is still talking about the Knicks…

When I was a junior high schooler, Isiah Thomas was one of my favorite players.  When my Dad and I hit the courts every Saturday morning, he’d encourage me by saying my skill could compensate for my small size a la Zeke.  From that moment on, I always admired Thomas. Until he came to New York and ruined my Knicks.  Now, I cringe anytime Thomas’s name and the Knicks are mentioned...
