RunningTheBulls.com, the official Rivals network site for the South Florida Bulls, is reporting that Louisville commit Derrick Calloway will visit USF this weekend.
Calloway, a 6-foot-1 300-pound defensive tackle committed to Louisville at the end of December. He chose the Cardinals over Missouri, South Florida, Arizona, Florida, Miami, North Carolina and USC.
Rivals.com rates Calloway as a 4-star prospect.
Despite being offered by a number of high level schools, Calloway’s decision ultimately came down to Louisville and South Florida. His high school coach Joe Kinnan says Calloway will visit USF to get a better feel for Willie Taggart and his new staff.
I don’t think there is much to worry about, unless for some reason Calloway decides he wants to stay closer to home. It’s very common for kids to continue taking visits after committing to a school.
