Washington State University Head Soccer Coach Matt Potter resigned to accept the head coaching position at the University of Oklahoma, the Sooners announced, Tuesday.

Matt Potter, who has taken Washington State to the NCAA tournament in three of the last four years, has been named the fourth head coach in the history of the University of Oklahoma soccer program. Potter's hiring was announced Tuesday by OU VP/Athletics Director Joe Castiglione.

Houston Football returned to the practice fields on Tuesday. The Cougars were rewarded with a few days off for the holidays and returned to the practice fields this afternoon with an efficient, two-hour preparation session. The day began at 3 p.m. with meetings and finished shortly after 5 p.m. on the practice fields.
