Hey everybody and welcome to another edition of Matt and Tad’s excellent previews! Today we’ll be looking at a matchup of 0-1 teams that could both be 1-0 as the Carolina Panthers travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills. Both teams played against possible super bowl contenders (Buffalo against New England and Carolina against Seattle) and played them right down to the wire, so in reality both of these teams could be 1-0 this week. Unfortunately for them, neither could pull it out and now someone has to be in an 0-2 hole. It also pits Panthers QB Cam Newton against a guy who’s heard a lot of comparisons to Newton, Bills QB EJ Manuel. We’ll be taking you through keys to victory, the game changers for each team, and our final score predictions today. Buffalo Bills Twitter account makes epic gaffe at end of game

The Buffalo Bills won in riveting fashion over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday thanks to a last minute touchdown pass from rookie quarterback EJ Manuel to Steve Johnson. The score essentially gave the Bills a 24-23 lead with just six seconds to go in the game. However, the person responsible for the Bills Twitter account didn't see things that way. They mistakenly sent out...

NFL WK 2 Buffalo Bills V/S Carolina Panthers!

The Buffalo Bills played a decent game against the NE Patriots losing 23-21.  The Patriots young WR will struggle for a few more games when Aaron Dobson and others stop thinking and just start to play.  The Pats will be fine but until the learning is over for the skill positions. New England may want to think about bringing a veteran WR in a Donte Stallworth or a Brandon Lloyd...

EJ Manuel leads the way with late drive to beat Panthers

The city of Buffalo is excited at the prospect of having a new quarterback to prop up on their collective shoulders as the man to take them to the promised land. Its been a long time since the Jim Kelly era, and not too long ago that Ryan Fitzpatrick was the assumed second coming. Now we have rookie EJ Manuel, who pulled a mini miracle on Sunday if you ask some fans.

Carolina Panthers Week 2 Injury Report: Kenjon Barner, James Dockery OUT

The Carolina Panthers suffered a devastating 12-7 loss in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks.  Not only did the Panthers lose the game but they also lost starting right guard Garry Williams for the season with a torn ACL.  Williams' injury led to the Panthers moving Travelle Wharton over to the RG position and recently activated left guard Amini Silatolu will move in to...

Panthers safety Charles Godfrey likely done for season

After starting safeties Charles Godfrey and Quintin Mikell limped through the visitors locker room on crutches each with his right foot in a protective boot defensive back D.J. Moore walked in with his left knee in a brace. The Panthers lost three starting defensive backs in Sunday’s 24-23 loss to Buffalo but Moore was thought to be one of the healthy ones. It turned out Moore...

Carolina Panthers at Buffalo Bills: 2013 Week 2 NFL Pick

Carolina Panthers (0-1) at Buffalo Bills (0-1) The Panthers were my biggest sleeper coming into the season. In 2012, The Panthers won 6 of their final 9 games to finish 7-9. Among those 6 wins were victories over division winners Washington and Atlanta, as well as a victory in New Orleans against the Saints. Newton was noticeably better in the 2nd half of the season, completing...

E.J. Manuel and the Buffalo Bills Show a Flair for the Dramatic

The Buffalo Bills rebounded from a heartbreaking loss to the New England Patriots with a comeback of their own against the Carolina Panthers. With 1:38 remaining in the game, the Buffalo Bills found themselves losing 23-17. It was E.J. Manuel’s first chance to win a game in a two-minute offense and he didn’t disappoint. The drive started with a completion to Stevie Johnson for...

Fred Jackson Cools Off vs. Carolina

Bills running back Fred Jackson wasn't anything special Sunday versus Carolina.Fantasy Spin:The Panthers held Jackson to just 30 yards on 12 carries. Buffalo's running back workload has been a 60/40 split through the first two games.

Stevie: E.J. 'locked in' on game-winning drive

BY DAN BEGNOCHEThe Buffalo Bills have asked a lot of rookie E.J. Manuel in his very brief NFL career. The thing is, it doesn't seem like it's phasing the 23-year-old much at all.A week after avoiding any turnovers and nearly eeking out a victory against last year's divisional champs, Manuel orchestrated an 80-yard, game-winning drive with less than two minutes to go in...

Jairus Byrd is Inactive

Plantar fasciitis will keep All-Pro free safety Jairus Byrd out for a second straight week.Fantasy Spin:The Bills were gashed for 288 passing yards in Week 1 and it could be the same deal Sunday versus Cam Newton. No timetable has been given for Byrd's return.

Film Review: Manuel's impressive debut

BY SEAN DONOVANDespite the fact that they lost, the Buffalo Bills were counted among the teams that pleasantly surprised Week 1. They stood toe-to-toe with divisional juggernaut New England, carrying a lead late in the fourth quarter before losing on a field goal in the closing seconds. The Bills got resilient performances on both sides of the ball, but perhaps the most impressive...

Recap: Bills beat the Panthers, 24-23

Whoa. I just woke up from a 4-hour nap, still slightly buzzed, and I don't have any idea where my glasses are. I think I may have lost them in the fracas of the Bills stunning win. I also happened to win Bills/Ravens tickets somehow while going to McFaddens to #supportsally. Seriously, life is good right about now. As for today's game, there was some sort of peaceful...

Super Mario Sets Bills Record With 4.5 Sacks

espn.com It was a sight to see yesterday in Orchard Park, New York. “Super” Mario Williams broke a franchise and person record yesterday against the Carolina Panthers, when no one could stop him getting to Cam Newton. Williams had 4.5 sacks on the Panther QB. No Bills player has had four sacks in a game since Bruce Smith shredded the offensive line of the Houston Oilers back...
