ROSEMONT, Ill. - Michigan State's football win over Wisconsin last week on the Hail Mary from Kirk Cousins to Keith Nichol (eventually), is still resonating.

Former Michigan State wrestler and NCAA Champion Franklin Gomez won a gold medal at the Pan American Games on Monday in the 60 kilogram/132 pound freestyle division. Representing Puerto Rico, Gomez defeated Guillermo Torres of Mexico in the finals, 4-0, 6-0.
