Jameson Taillon gets the start for Altoona tonight. Barring an unlikely promotion to Indianapolis for the playoffs, this will be his last game of the season. The DSL Pirates1 won the second round of their playoffs yesterday and will now go on to play the winner of the Yankees/Angels series in a best of three series for the DSL championship. The start date of that series is tentatively scheduled for Monday. The GCL Pirates won the GCL championship Wednesday. Indianapolis will begin their playoffs next week. A full recap of yesterday’s games can be found here.
