Once thought to be a candidate for the Super Bowl season after season, the New England Patriots are now thought to be a longshot for the playoffs.
The vaunted Patriot dynasty is sinking faster than the Titanic with its iceberg fate. The ship cannot be righted as it breaks apart and sinks.
Like Alice, fans have followed the late rabbit into a bottomless pit called Wonderland.
New England Patriots look like they have as much chance to win a Super Bowl as a turkey surviving Thanksgiving. Maybe this year fans will want fish at the holiday table, but it’s doubtful.
Not since the dark days of sitting on cold metal seats at Shaeffer Stadium have Patriot fans endured two losses in a row after a bye week. This week hemorrhoids come to the seats in the luxury boxes at Gillette.
We fully expect to learn that Patriots players are having fried chicken and beer delivered to Patriot Place during the game.

Patriots CB Devin McCourty was part of a resurgent defensive performance that held its own against the Giants… right up until the fourth quarter. In Sunday’s 24-20 loss to the G-Men, the Pats allowed QB Eli Manning to come all the way back and ruin the day. But what to make of its performance? Check out my video:
The New England Patriots have had the NFL's lowest-ranked defense almost all season. Now their offense is struggling, too.
Arguably the best tight end in Patriots history (that is, until Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez came along), Ben Coates spent nine years in New England and was a favorite target for quarterback Drew Bledsoe. After being drafted in the fifth round of the 1991 NFL Draft, his first two years in Foxborough were uneventful.

That'...

- The Giants enter this game playing with house money. Not many people expect them to beat the Patriots, but if they pull out a victory they immediately gain the respect that has eluded them so far this season.

It doesn’t get any better than a New England Patriots vs. New York Jets game. This Sunday night, with first place on the line, MetLife Stadium will be rocking. For Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, it’s a defining moment for the season.“We’ve … [visit site to read more]Tom Brady says Jets game will show what Pats are made of - The Jet Press - The Jet Press - A New York Jets...
- The victory over the Eagles was an enormous win for this franchise, but this one was more impressive. Sure, the Patriots lost last week to the Steelers, but to me, that only makes the win more astounding. A Bill Belichick team losing two in a row is rare enough, but the fact that the Giants won in New England, where the Pats had won twenty straight regular season games (and 31...
For whatever reason, Eli will always be considered just an "OK" quarterback. Maybe it's because he is a contemporary of some very, very good quarterbacks—one of whom is his big brother—or maybe it's because he is kind of a doofus. Either way, here's your Sunday roundup. Enjoy. More »
