Two years ago, Dave Cummings began searching for an idea to benefit American military veterans. After finding the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Cummings hatched the idea of shooting free throws -- one million of them. Cummings established his own organization, Hoops For Heroes, and made his millionith free throw Friday at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He averaged 1,370 makes per day and once made 21,000 shots in a day to honor a fallen soldier. In two years, Cummings raised over $70,000 in donations, according to his organization's website.
