I didn't like it when Drew Brees spoke for America proclaiming Americans are tired of not seeing proof of 'Bountygate' ever happening. I'm American. I don't feel that way one bit.   Then Brees proclaimed to Sports Illustrated's Peter King (regarding commissioner Roger Goodell), "Nobody trusts him. Nobody trusts him.....  now if a guy has to come in to talk to Roger, he'll be very hesitant because he'll think the conclusion has already been reached."   He bases this opinion on his many self alleged conversations with other players. So he apparently feels he is the collective voice of not only the little people, but also his NFL comrades.    This weekend the NFL Network will be airing it's taped two-part interview between Brees and Hall of Fame running back (and NFL super-analyst) Marshall Faulk. I'm looking forward to it.

Not because I expect any enlightening revelations from bitter Brees, but rather to be further entertained by his crying and whining.

That, and to hear his answer to Faulk's pointed question (as seen in the Network's promo) as to whether Brees himself distrusts the commissioner after bluntly reiterating his allegation that so many players don't.    Anything other than a 'No' answer would be sheer hypocrisy. I don't expect to hear that answer, but will be pleasantly surprised if he's as honest and forthright as he has been spewing his venom.    The network's interview promo highlights Brees criticizing the commissioner as well as the entire process, then spouting - "It's Not Fair".    Really Drew?    Outside of the fact that you sound like a 10-year-old, we (if he can speak for 'us', I feel I can since I really am one of 'us') haven't seen anything contradicting what clearly looks like a justifiably guilty verdict rendered against both your coaches and teammates.    I won't chronicle it out here because I'm sure most people reading this article are well aware of the public facts and information, and are probably a little bored with it all.    As far as 'fair' goes, you and any other player whom you actually do speak for just agreed to a new long-term collective bargaining agreement less than a year ago.The CBA is a legal and binding contract.    It's completely fair. You gave the good commissioner complete authority in the matter. If you think that's 'unfair'... who's fault is that Drew?    You sure grew up as a quarterback. Now how about growing up as a person?
