Manchester City is poised to win it’s first Barclay’s Premiership title and it’s first league title since 1968! On paper, it is very unlikely they can lose their grasp on the trophy. They face off against the 17th place Queens Park Rangers who are trying to hold a spot in the top division. QPR holds a two point lead on the Bolton Wanderers, who face Stoke City today. They have had a stunning year, but still are going to need goal difference to separate them from Manchester United. Currently they hold an 8 goal lead, and I can’t imagine United dismissing that advantage no matter how great their form. ManCity looks to continue their amazing home performance, unbeaten in their last 18 matches in league play. It seems Roberto Mancini will have the last laugh over Sir Alex Ferguson and the Red Devils.
“Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself” is usually accompanied by an older brother using his little brother’s own hand to pummel himself…but this time this is a very literal statement. Bryce Harper, quit hitting yourself! The 19yr old Major Leaguer decided to take out his frustration on himself, with a bat. He, seemingly, has the world on his shoulders with the expectations of greatness. Yet, he has conducted his stint in the spotlight with professionalism until Friday against the Reds. He grounded out in the 7th and went in to the tunnel to take some frustration out with his bat against the wall. At some point during his youthful rage, the bat bounced back and hit him in the eye. This behavior not only caused 10 stitches, but may have shown a ***** in the armor.
Kevin Na’s “routine”
The leader going into today’s final round of the The Player’s Championship is Kevin Na, but the talk in the golf world is about what happens before he strikes the ball. Don’t bother trying to understand it. Amateur golfers are told all the time about routines, but Na’s pre shot antics are anything but routine. If he continues his success with this action then I can assure you we will see people at our local courses mimicking his “pull the trigger” set up!
Kevin Na has a pre-shot routine longer than a “Godfather” movie, but far less entertaining. The 28-year-old golfer, who leads The Players Championship through three rounds, recognizes how ridiculous his routine is and apologizes for it.
“There’s so much on the line that I just have to sometimes back off,” Na told the media on Saturday. “Or I’ll force myself to take...
Golfer Kevin Na hit a great shot off the cart path onto the green at the 18th hole during Sunday's final round of The Players Championship. In the midst of expressing his excitement over Na's amazing shot, a Golf Channel announcer accidentally cursed on live television.

Washington Nationals rookie outfielder Bryce Harper has a very divisive personality, but his outburst on Friday is something that all fans will agree was completely stupid of him to do.
In the midst of an 0/5, three strikeout game tonight against the Cincinnati Reds, Harper took out his rage on the Nationals dugout, smashing the side of it with his bat after striking out in the...
Hasn't been the best of times since Bryce Harper cut off his skullet, eh? Friday night: 0-5, smacks himself in the eye with his bat. Saturday: 0-4, finishes his day by striking out on three pitches against Aroldis Chapman. Then on Sunday, Harper lost a Jay Bruce fly ball in the twlight/mist/clouds/sky in the 8th inning (video here). Ball lands ~15 feet behind him on the warning...
40 second mark. Johnny Miller drops an 's-bomb' following Kevin Na's shot on 18 at the Player's Championship.
Johnny was probably just shocked that Na hit the damn ball.

Ever since Bryce Harper's Sports Illustrated cover story at the age of 15, there's been a lot of talk about the phenom—and two topics especially: how good is this kid really going to be? and how cocky can he be? From obnoxious tweets to scary eye-black to a few blown kisses during a minor league tater trot, the second question seemed like it might be the more controversial...
Harper literally added injury to insult on Friday
The 19-year old had a night to forget in his first appearance in the Queen City on Friday. His 0-5 showing with three strikeouts led him to lash out in frustration and consequently harm himself. After his fourth at-bat he went down in the tunnel and attempted to take out his anger on an unsuspecting wall with his bat....
Bryce Harper has made headlines for all kinds of baseball feats since breaking into the major leagues earlier this month. Recently, it hasn't been good news, as Harper sent a bat caroming off his face. He had swung the bat at a wall in frustration after striking out in a game and ended up needing 10 stitches above his left eye. It appears that the injuries Harper has been doling...
Matt Kuchar won the 2012 Players Championship with a final round of 70 and finished 13-under for the tournament.
Kuchar was confident and consistent throughout the tournament at the TPC at Sawgrass golf course. This is his fourth career win and the first in two years.
Kevin Na who led the tournament going into the final round struggled on Sunday shooting a 76 to end up seventh...
Well, it's a good thing Bryce Harper got his frustrations out on Friday night. Harper suffered through another tough night at the plate on Saturday (0-4, 1K, 5 LOB), capped off by a three pitch strikeout to Aroldis Chapman (99 MPH foul, 87 MPH foul, 100 MPH whiff).

Mike Leake is still winless, and that's becoming a worry.
Roger Bernadina and Danny Espinosa each hit a two-run homer off Leake on Friday night, setting off one of Washington's biggest scoring splurges of the season and a 7-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.
The slow-starting Nationals had scored only three runs in the first inning all season. They had that many before...
