The San Diego Padres activated starting pitcher Aaron Harang from the 15-day disabled list Saturday.Harang had been out of action since June 9 after suffering a foot injury. The 33-year-old righthander made one rehabilitation start with the Padres' Class-A affiliate in Lake Elsinore, allowing three runs over four innings while striking out seven.Padres brass liked what they saw and opted to activate the veteran hurler rather than have him make another rehab appearance. He was set to start Saturday's game against the L.A. Dodgers.Harang is enjoying a strong season in San Diego, posting a 7-2 record with a 3.71 ERA in 80 innings. The Padres sent reliever Pat Neshek to Triple-A to make room for Harang on the roster. Neshek has a 3.52 ERA over 23 innings.
