Cristiano Ronaldo, 27, is often referred to as the best soccer player in the world, if not the best than certainly the most popular. And the Portugese Real Madrid star wants everyone to remember that by commemorating his outstanding year of 2012 by having all of his achievements sewn onto his cleats. The iconic numbers include: 1, 9, 14, 19, 27, 55, and 60. I'll let the folks at Metro take it from here:The 1 refers to his first La Liga title with Real Madrid, the 9 and 14 being his amount of goals and games for Portugal. The 19 is the record-breaking number of opponents Ronaldo has scored against while the 27 was his age last year. But the most incredible and standout numbers are the last two – 55 and 60 – referring to his amazing goal tally in 2012, when Ronaldo found the net 60 times in just 55 matches."Last season was a very special one for me, helping my team and country achieve success. It’s great to celebrate these achievements and also have a great pair of boots to recognise the moment," he said. "I’ll enjoy playing in them for sure." Ronaldo won't be the only one enjoying these new digs. According to the article, a plethora of fans will be enjoying them as well. Ronaldo will randomly hand out the Nike-designed shoes to 100 lucky fans. Pretty awesome.
