Indiana Pacers/New York Knick: Game 2 -       Knicks under some real pressure tonight. They cannot leave New York down 0-2. They especially need to focus on playing more physical and not letting the Pacers muscle them around. -       Knicks getting the offense going early and taking advantage of quite a few Pacer turnovers. -       I cannot believe the Pacers are even in this game with how much they are turning the ball over. -       Iman Shumpert better be careful, if his head gets any closer to the rim on his dunks, he is going to shave a few inches off that awesome high top fade. {youtube}uirM5sljfO8{/youtube] -       47-42 at halftime. If the Pacers could just cut down on their turnovers, they would be on cruise control in this game. -       Anthony being much more aggressive in the third quarter. He is attacking the basket instead of settling for jump shots and allowing him to really get it going. -       Knicks looked like they were going for another collapse but they battled right back and end up outscoring the Pacers by one in that quarter for a six-point lead heading to the fourth. -       Knicks pouring it on in the fourth, starting the quarter on a 10-0 run. Pacers look totally different from the team we saw in Game One. Cannot seem to get anything going. -       Leave it up to Tyson Chandler to get a technical foul when his team is up 20 points. -       Knicks up 24 with six minutes to go. Shut it down. Let’s call it early. -       Embarrassing showing from the Pacers in the fourth quarter. Luckily for them they have a plane ride and a couple extra days rest (next game isn’t until Saturday) to forget about this game and move on. Memphis Grizzlies/Oklahoma City Thunder: Game 2 -       Oklahoma City proved in Game One that the team just needs to stay close and it is its game for the taking down the stretch on Kevin Durant's back. Memphis has to have a good bit of confidence because of the way they played, but Game Two is very much up in the air. -       Serge Ibaka still really struggling to get going offensively. The Thunder are going to need him and Kendrick Perkins to contribute something to make Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph have to work a little on defense. -       Gasol scoring a bunch tonight but surprisingly not any rebounds. Kind of a crazy stat. -       Looks like Derek Fisher wants to be Durant’s No. 2 today. Hitting some big three-pointers. Three for three so far. -       Huge play shows Memphis’ physicality. Three offensive rebounds including some real hustle plays from Randolph. Results in a jump shot and a big change of the momentum. -       Nice little 9-2 run by Memphis to end the half and take a three-point lead into halftime. -       This game is really back and forth through three quarters. In most cases, being able to hang around benefits the road team because it gives them the chance to steal the game, but we established in Game One that a close contest favors the Thunder. -       Perkins having a really frustrating night. He just looks really off. -       The Thunder could go with the “hack-a-Grizzly” strategy the way Memphis is shooting free throws in this series. Seriously, just pick any Grizzlies player on the floor and send them to the line. -       Gasol’s ability to hit the outside (non) jump shot is so essential to the Grizzlies’ offensive success. -       It never looks like Durant is going anywhere fast, but he gets to the rim and elevates in a hurry. Sick dunk to end the third. -       Well… not to end the third. We end the third with a terrible foul from Darrell Arthur to give Durant three free throws. -       Memphis starts fourth with 9-2 run with Durant sitting. Durant comes in and hits his first shot. No time to rest. -       I feel like I am beating a dead horse here but again, down the stretch, Memphis has no one who they can go to for points and the Thunder just go to Durant. 88-86 with three minutes to go. -       A big three-pointer for Mike Conley puts the Grizzlies up two with two minutes to go. I like the way he is been playing tonight. I think Memphis needs more of him driving to the basket. Good things seem to happen for them when he does. -       On cue, he hits another big shot to put the Grizzlies up four with a minute to go. -       The Grizzlies do not need the scorers down the stretch tonight because they’re playing great defense. Even locking down the unlockable Durant. -       Big win for Memphis. They have not lost at home yet this postseason, so stealing a game on the road was huge. [follow]
