Rajon Rondo is, in my opinion, the best point guard in the NBA. With his speed he can easily blow past his defender, and then do his little fake the behind the back pass, a teardrop in the lane, or posterize the big men under the basket. He set the Celtics single season record in steals (189) and in assists (794) after passing Bob Cousy who set it with 715, that was held for 50 years. With his long arms and huge hands he can steal the ball and before you know it he is at the other end throwin it down or finding Ray Ray in the corner for the long ball either way Rondo racks up the stats. Rondo and KG have very good chemistry Rondo alleys it and KG comes down with the loud oop! Meanwhile the TD Garden is going crazy (having experienced it)! Rajon is a speedster by day and a passer by night. Rajon lights the court up with his amazing passing whether it is his behind the back pass or the left hand bounce pass between three defenders everyone is amazed by it. Everyone says that he is a great rebounding guard too, very few guards get alot of rebounds, but after Rondo passes it he dives to the basket for the rebound and the put back jamm. Last year in the playoffs Rajon Rondo recorded three triple-doubles that was tied with Larry Bird for the most triple-doubles in the same playoffs in Celtics history. Many people were saying that he might even be the MVP of the playoffs through the first two rounds. As all of the Celtics fans know, we ended up losing to the Orlando Magic in seven games, without our star Kevin Garnett, but Rondo stepped up and was the star for the end of the regular season and the playoffs.
And that is why Rajon Rondo is Amazin!
