But since coming to the Mets Ramirez has struggled, he had a bad spring but unlike Rauch and Francisco who turned it on when the season started, Ramirez has only had one good outing.

Opening day in an inning and 1/3 he allowed two hits and a walk while being bailed out by Tim Byrdak. He had a clean game against Washington but then two games later the Nats got to him for a run in an inning off a hit and  two walks.  His next outing against the Phillies he allowed two runs off three hits in an inning.  Then tonight when the Mets were attempting to claw back into the game, Ramirez was tasked with stopping the bleeding and he was unable to do it as he gave up two runs on two hits and a walk in two innings.

While it's only five games into the season his ERA has already ballooned to 7.11 and he has had three straight bad appearances, it's too early to become concerned but it is something to keep an eye on....
