No Guts, No Glory:
Lane Kiffin just can’t stop bringing negative attention to the USC program. In the six months alone, Kiffin has lied about his coaches poll vote, prohibited visiting teams from doing walkthroughs at the Coliseum, pulled a walk-ons scholarship to give it to a player fresh out jail, briefly banned a reporter for doing his job, and had to fire a student manager who deflated balls in the Oregon game. And it must be repeated that all of that happened in a span of SIX months.
But with the recruiting season in full swing, Kiffin isn’t done. His most recent misstep involves a four star defensive end decommiting from USC because he was told he could not early enroll. That’s despite being told just two weeks ago that he could early enroll.
Redlands East Valley High defensive lineman Kylie Fitts is de-committing from USC after learning he wouldn’t be able to enter school early, Wildcats coach Kurt Bruich said.
USC told Fitts, a 6-foot-4, 265-pounder who graduated at the semester, on Monday the...

USC cornerback Nickell Robey said Sunday he would forgo his final season of eligibility and make himself available for the NFL draft.
Robey, a three-year starter for the Trojans, said he made his decision a few days ago and informed Coach Lane Kiffin.
He respected my decision, Robey said. Its a business decision, like any other important decision Ive made my whole life.
I suppose former USC defensive lineman Armond Armstead would have a problem with being associated with USC in the headline and in this sentence since he is suing them for allegedly causing the heart attack that caused him to miss the 2011 season and go undrafted in the 2012 draft. But that’s what happened and he DID play there for three seasons.
Armstead played the 2012 season...

USC junior cornerback Nickell Robey decides to forego his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
The changes at Southern California will not stop with new coach Bob Cantu, who Monday morning replaced Kevin ONeill on an interim basis for the rest of the season.
Cantu plans to hit the ground running. He wants to play at a faster pace, use more zone defense with twin towers Dewayne Dedmon and Omar Orabi at the back end, and integrate several new players into the rotation. It is...
