If Bryce Harper is one of the biggest sports stars in Washington, DC, but no other athletes recognize him, is he really a big sports star? When asked to put a name to the face of one of the biggest names in DC, Redskins running back Alfred Morris fell short. WUSA9 in Washington thought they would spice up training camp a little bit by seeing how many Redskins players would recognize Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper — without his baseball gear on. It would seem safe to say that professional athletes who play in the same city might recognize one another, but this experiment proved almost the opposite. Many redskins players had no idea who Harper was when they were shown his photo, but Morris had by far the most interesting response. “Is that Tom Brady?” Maybe if Brady had forgotten to shave. Only nine of the Redskins players asked were able to properly identify Harper, while 12 flat out didn’t know who Harper was or couldn’t come up with his name.
