Jim Rome will soon be burning on a different network. Rome is moving to the new CBS Sports Network from ESPN, The Big Lead reports. He will continue to have a show, but will reportedly also have an expanded role in the network. Rome would be at least the fourth big name to join CBS Spors in the past 12 months, following college football reporter Brett McMurphy, college basketball reporter Jeff Goodman, and baseball reporter Jon Heyman.

Jim Rome Leaving ESPN for CBS

The Big Lead is reporting that Jim Rome will be leaving ESPN for CBS this month, and that his show "Jim Rome is Burning" will be heading with him. ESPN later confirmed the report of Rome's departure. ESPN pundit Jim Rome is officially heading to CBS Sports. In a multi-year deal, Rome will host a nightly talk show on CBS Sports Network and contribute to CBS coverage of the NFL, NCAA Tournament and U.S. Open, CBS Sports announced Wednesday.
