According to Nakia Hogan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the NFL has given the Saints permission to speak with head coach Sean Payton, so they can work out the issue with his voided contract. “The Saints and Payton, however, are allowed to negotiate a contract extension right now despite the league’s no-contact policy as a stipulation for Payton’s season-long suspension connected to the bounty scandal, according to a source,” reported Hogan. Even if Payton can work things out with the Saints now, the question is will he?  Albert Breer of the NFL Network believes that there’s a chance Payton would leave New Orleans for Dallas.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";
