Wayne Rooney thinks that Manchester United will get the best out of him in the future as a center-forward. The 27-year-old, who handed in a transfer request at the end of the season, occasionally played in midfield for United in their recent Premier League title-winning campaign. Following his move from Arsenal , Robin van Persie led the line for United to good effect with 26 league goals, with Rooney lending support in a slightly withdrawn role.
