Ryan Hunter-Reay to run Rolex 24 at Daytona

Reigning IZOD IndyCar Series champion Ryan Hunter-Reay has been named the third co-driver alongside 2013 full-time teammates Max Angelelli and Jordan Taylor when the newly christened No. 10 Velocity Worldwide Corvette Dallara DP for Wayne Taylor Racing takes to the Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway road course for the 51st running of the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona.Thursday’s announcement came on the eve of the annual Roar Before the 24 test days Friday through Sunday on the 12-turn, 3.56-mile Daytona road circuit. The Rolex 24 is set for Jan. 26-27."I look forward to once again be driving for Wayne and working with the team that catapulted my career resurgence in 2006," said Hunter-Reay, who has a best finish of third in the 2010 Rolex 24.
