Rob Loe and Cody Ellis scored 15 points apiece and Saint Louis scored the game's first 17 points in routing Alabama State 65-35 Saturday night. The Billikens (10-1) held Alabama State to 11 first-half points and never trailed in the game. Saint Louis, which led 33-11 at the break, kept the lead at a minimum of 20 after that and led by as many as 37. The Billikens also outrebounded Alabama State 43-24. The Hornets (2-7) didn't get on the board until Luther Page's layup with 11:54 remaining in the half. They missed their first nine shots and went just 4 for 24 (17 percent) from the field before halftime. Alabama State finished with 29 percent shooting. Kenderek Washington led Alabama State with 12 points, all but one after halftime.

Loe, Ellis lead SLU to win with outside game
