Drew Brees is one of the best players in the NFL currently, but that doesn't mean he thinks his line of work is for everyone, including his three sons, at least while they are young according to the Saints' quarterback. "At a certain age, I think it's appropriate. I think you can be too young to go out there and strap on a helmet," Brees told USA TODAY on Wednesday. Brees and his wife, Brittany, decided they would not allow any of their sons to play football before they are teenagers, because they don't believe letting them play is worth the risk of injury at a young age. "As a parent, you have to know what those risks are, and the protocols that have to take place when things happen," Brees said. "When you get a concussion, you should be out for a certain period of time. You should be taking the baseline test. You go back and take that test again, get cleared by medical professionals before you ever play. For a kid, it should be at least a week or two, if not more." The Brees' said they will allow their sons to play football if they so choose when they get older, and if they do follow in their father's footsteps, could there be another first-family of football to unseat the Mannings?
