Penn State students and alumni, as well as fans from all other BigTen schools, have begun electronically signing a petition to restore Joe Paterno's name on the BigTen's football trophy. If you would like to sign the petition, it can be found here. It reads in part:
"In the after math of the Sandusky scandal, the Big Ten Conference unjustly removed Joe Paterno...
Prior to the Penn State game, Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan passed out an article to his players about being better than average. It wasn't done to demand more out of No.21 Wisconsin, but to simply serve as a needed reminder of what it takes to continue its success.

2011 was a huge year for Penn State…and not in a good way. The Nittany Lions didn’t have a chapionship-caliber season like Alabama or LSU, or even Wisconsin. No, they had their football program and university forever tarnished by one man, and they watched as their beloved coach was fired and then died months later.
