After dropping his last two fights and not be able to fight for nearly two years, Shane Carwin decided to call it quits today.  He made his announcement via Twitter. “Officially retired [today],” Carwin wrote on his Twitter feed. “Thank you to my family, friends and fans! Dream big. God Bless.” Shane Carwin was known for his KO power as he knocked out his first 12 opponents in the first round.  His last trip in the octagon resulted in a brutal beating at the hands of Junior Dos Santos.  Too bad we didn’t get to see one more big KO out of Shane Carwin, but we wish him the best of luck in retirement.
