All seems well in the world of Tiger Woods. He is winning, has a new lady and most of the scandalous drama seems to be behind him. He seems very relax on his yacht with Lindsey Vonn.
Only thing that is missing is another major title, he hasn’t been able to figure that out just yet.
Once that happens, then you can say Tiger’s back.
BEST OF MAXIM
Tiger Woods has always been considered the best golfer in the game for over the past decade. His major pursuit is like watching history unfold before our eyes. His swing makeovers have always kept him on top of his game to let him compete with the younger crowd and keep him in contention, later in his career. There has never been a golfer more broken down and analyzed more, than...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By DOUG FERGUSON AP Golf Writer Tiger Woods has faced more scrutiny that any other golfer from his generation. Maybe ever.
Just not this variety.
Woods must long for the days when the golf world obsessed over his swing changes (all four of them) and questioned his coaches (all three of them). He was criticized for not playing enough tournaments and not giving...

“It lacked character.”
Those words have been used to describe a Tiger Woods decision before, but the fact that they’re increasingly being used to describe Woods’ on-course actions is something else.
That’s the case this week, though, as Woods finds himself embroiled in a feud with fellow golfer Sergio Garcia. Woods and Garcia weren’t shy about insulting each other as...
Remember the little he-said/he-said battle between Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia on Saturday at TPC Sawgrass?
Well, get ready to add two more he-saids to that mix.
Two course marshals are disputing Tiger's assertion that he had been told at the time that Garcia had already taken his shot when he pulled a driver from his bag and sent the gallery into a tizzy.
At the time, Garcia...

Other marshals speak out on Woods/Garcia incident: On Tuesday, North clarified his version of the story in an interview with GolfChannel.com. “I didn’t want to impugn the character of Tiger Woods or the Sports Illustrated writer,” said North, a pilot with FedEx who has marshaled at The Players for 30 years. “I was just answering...

I'll admit it. For the past couple of years, I didn't get it when fans complained about the wussification of sports. I thought the complaints were overblown, a product of social media immaturity, a lack of sophistication and intellectual evolution.
I was wrong. We've gone too far with the wussification of sports. I realized it this past weekend when the sports world...

Meet … uh, This Guy. He just sank the putt of the year.We don’t have a lot of information about him. He’s not in a golf boy band, he’s not taking sides in the oncoming war between golf pants and shorts and he hasn’t done battle with any three-legged alligators. He’s just a man skilled enough to sink a multi-direction putt from the top of a staircase on somebody else’s...
Halfway? Already? Didn’t we just get over the Masters buzz? Well, it’s true; with the shift in the PGA Tour’s schedule this season, there are only 38 weekly events (leaving out things like the midweek Tavistock Cup and The Presidents Cup at the end of the season), and The Players was No. 19. As usual, there are lots of questions, some of which even have definitive answers....
Sometimes emotions in sports transcend the sports themselves. It is during those times -- moments when the indomitable human spirit shines -- that we remember why we play the games.
Last week was one of those times.
Womens college golf doesnt get a lot of coverage, especially before the NCAA finals, which start next week at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens. Most of...
