The Memphis Grizzlies have entered into a multi-year agreement with Arizona-based Skyview Networks to license broadcast rights for the Grizzlies radio and television play-by-play broadcasts.
Skyview currently provides broadcast services for more than 100 professional sports teams and colleges across the nation, including the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, who signed a broadcast deal with the company just a few weeks ago.
“We feel confident that our services are the right fit for the Grizzlies and they will enjoy the benefits of our system integration, including the accurate and detailed inventory tracking,”Matt Stys, vice president of business development for Skyview Networks, said in a statement. Under the agreement, Skyview will provide satellite distribution, receivers and web automation and inventory management software for the Grizzlies. The team previously relied on Cumulus Radio Network to handle their network distribution duties.
