NFL Trade Rumors:
Earlier in the season, the St Louis Rams made the decision to allow RB Steven Jackson to become a free agent rather than pick up his option, but he apparently “expects to be back” with the team next season.
“It’ll be something that I look forward to dealing with and handling at the end of the year,” said Jackson, via the St Louis Post-Dispatch. “I’m very optimistic that I’ll finish my career as a Ram.“
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher added that they too expect Jackson will finish out his career with the franchise, so it will be interesting to see how things play out with him during the offseason.
We have Jackson listed as the No. 14 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.

to suit up for the second day in a row.
Amendola continues to recover from a foot injury that has sidelined

Since the bye, the Rams have tied and beaten the 49ers, gotten road wins in Buffalo and Arizona, and only lost to the Jets, who were in a great spot. Improved health is to thank. They won’t win in Seattle, but they should win at least one of two against Minnesota in...
ST. LOUIS (AP) Johnny Hekker is beginning to make his mark as one of five rookie punters in the NFL.
The Rams' punt team's statistics don't give much reason for pause, ranking in the bottom third in net average, percentage of punts inside the opponents' 20 yard line, fair catches forced and several other categories. But what coach Jeff Fisher likes is Hekker'...
ST. LOUIS (AP) The St. Louis Rams find themselves with an opportunity to finish with a winning record for the first time since 2003 and an outside shot of making the playoffs.
If they accomplish either, Sam Bradford and the offense won't be the main reason for the success. The Rams offense is 29th in scoring and the third-year quarterback is ranked 22nd.
Rams receiver Danny Amendola (heel) returned to the practice field on Friday and has been upgraded to probable.Fantasy Spin:Amendola said he "will play" when asked after practice, but the more important question is whether he will make it through 60 minutes. High-risk, high-reward.
ST. LOUIS Spots are scarce. This is the time of year when the playoff race becomes a melee of gritted teeth, flying elbows and black eyes. Six slots. Many possibilities. One brawl.
Call it Elimination Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome. The St. Louis Rams (6-6-1) and Minnesota Vikings (7-6) meet as members of the "In The Hunt" club in the NFC postseason chase. By the end...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Thanks in part to the Minnesota Vikings, the St. Louis Rams were faced with a franchise-altering moment in March when the Washington Redskins came calling.
On the table was a lucrative trade offer from Washington, which would net St. Louis six draft picks in exchange for the No. 2 overall selection and the rights to select Heisman-winning Baylor quarterback Robert...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. The Minnesota Vikings return to the road this weekend against another desperate team in the St. Louis Rams.
St. Louis (6-6-1) hosts its final home game of the season and traveling has not suited Minnesota (7-6) very well this season. The Vikings have won one road game this season. The Rams are 4-3 at home. But maybe playing in the Edward Jones Dome will help...
My God, these Rams are looking more and more like Jeff Fisher’s teams from Tennessee every day. No doubt about it, the Rams victory over Buffalo was ugly. Many of Fisher’s victories over time have been ugly. However, I am so happy to see an ugly victory instead of an ugly loss.
Some of you may be expecting another exaltation of Bradford. If I thought he had great game...
