Terrell Owens remains out of a job, but, in the meantime, he’s spreading his wings in other sporting venues. According to ESPNDallas.com, T.O. was named the MVP of the 2012 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game, hosted by Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki. Owens, playing for the White Sox, helped his team cruise to an easy win over Nowitzki’s Blue Sox. The mercurial receiver recorded three hits, including a late-game triple that he briefly thought of turning into an inside-the-park home run. He reportedly flashed his speed around the bases, so apparently that surgically-repaired ACL is holding up just fine. Also taking part in the game were Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant and Drew Pearson, GM of the Owens’ most-recent employer, the IFL’s Allen Wranglers.
