Davidson Wildcats
The Cards will travel across the country to Portland, Oregon for their first round game against the Davidson Wildcats on Thursday. The tip-off time has not been announced yet.
A 4-seed isn’t too much of a surprise, but having to travel 2,000 miles is bizarre. With Louisville having a shot at a 3-seed, I figured if they were to get a 4-seed, they would be rewarded by staying close to home. Davidson is 24-7 overall and has a win over Kansas. Their RPI is 64. Louisville shouldn’t have too much trouble, but Davidson won’t be a cupcake.
I’ll have much more info on the Wildcats throughout the week. I Hope to hear game times within the next few hours. I’m getting ready to record a podcast on the NCAA tournament. Make sure and check it out when it’s published.
