PLAYERS: Vince Young
Yesterday Vince Young tweeted that he was “in shape and ready to go” for the Texans since their QB situation is so ugly. Now Vince explained himself and says he would cry if the Texans actually signed him: “I would literally be crying on my first interview if that happens,” Young said. “People will be like, ‘Why are you crying?’ Because that would be a dream come true to play at home in front of my family and friends in the city I grew up in. They’ve been watching me since high school. I definitely wouldn’t let them down. “I’d put my blood, sweat and tears into getting that Super Bowl. That’s something I would love to do, definitely for my hometown.” What’s worse right now, that Vince Young has  to openly campaign for a job or that the Texans or so bad that he can actually do this?

Vince Young Campaigns for Starting Quarterback Job for Struggling Texans, Tells Team He’s ‘Ready to Go’

Some unsolicited help is on the way for the Houston Texans. The quarterback situation in the Lone Star State has been on a rapid downward spiral after the team jumped out to a 2-0 start. Tweet   With a 38-13 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday the Houston Texans dropped to 2-4 on the season. Texans should give Young consideration

This past weekend the Houston Texans fell 38-13 to the St. Louis Rams in an ugly defeat greatly marred by subpar quarterback play and by a major injury to franchise QB Matt Schaub; he and backup TJ Yates, who surrendered an interception returned for a touchdown, were largely ineffective. Having suffered yet another frustrating setback, the Texans must face an imminent decision regarding...

It’s going to rain tonight, and then it will be cold until May. Happy Monday! With how the football season is going…. let’s look at a preseason basketball power ranking!
