For me it is easy. And it will not come as a surprise. I was only three years old, but it is a memory for me because of how much it meant to my Mom - and the fact we named one of our first family pets after the man... Gibby. It was until we got the cat, and I was probably about 7 or 8 - so a few years removed from the World Series win in 1988 when this happened - that I learned what a moment it truly was for LA and our home baseball team, the Dodgers. It left such a lasting and powerful memory for my Mom, who was/is the smartest person in the world, that I had no choice but to claim allegiance to the team who was so incredible, we had to name a cat after their hero. My favorite moment in post season - and Dodger history - is Kirk Gibson's game winner game winner in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series.
