The World of Outlaw Sprint Cars were only able to get in one round of qualifying on Thursday night which set the times for Friday’s races. The qualifying for Saturday will take place Friday night after the hot laps during the World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte. The fast time during Kellogg’s Qualifying night was set by Sam Hafertepe Jr, who ripped off a 12.667 second lap for a speed of 113.681 mph. Hafertepe bested Steve Kinser, who was the second quickest qualifier, just .009 seconds behind with a lap of 12.766 seconds and a speed of 112.800 mph.
