Yoenis Cespedes had a pretty successful rookie season for the A’s in 2012, hitting .292/.356/.505, 23 home runs and 82 RBI while sending bombs to uninhabited parts of the Coliseum outfield. He’s probably your defending A.L. Rookie of the Year if it weren’t for Mike Trout, who we’ve heard is now fat.
We didn’t hear much from from the 27-year-old outfielder in the offseason, or that is he didn’t put out any insane workout videos this year. But if media dispatches from Arizona on Friday are any indication, Cespedes is picking up right where he left off last season. From BANG:
