Yuriorkis Gamboa defeated Michael Farenas Saturday night, giving rapper 50 Cent a victory in his debut as a boxing promoter. Fighting on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez undercard, the former Cuban Olympic gold medalist Gamboa survived a ninth-round knockdown to win a unanimous 12-round decision over Farenas in the 130-pound fight. 50 Cent, who got his Nevada promoter's license last month, paid $1 million for the contract to promote Gamboa.   Gamboa, 30, is 22-0-0 on his career with 16 knockouts. 50 Cent says Gamboa's next potential opponent could be Adrien Broner.  The 23-year-old is 25-0-0 with 21 knockouts.
