If you haven’t boycotted big-time boxing like I have and are looking for a reason to do so, here you have it. By now you’ve heard about Manny Pacquiao losing in a split-decision to Timothy Bradley late Saturday night. From all accounts (except two judges), Pacquiao was the clear winner. But, that’s why the judges are there – to fix decide the fight. But, the decision shouldn’t have been a surprise really to those that follow Timothy Bradley on Twitter (The Big Lead does). On May 29, 11 days before the fight, Bradley tweeted out a picture of a poster that was created announcing a Bradley-Pacquiao rematch. It had the date (November 10, 2012) and everything. Tickets were supposed to be made available today. So how did this happen? A money-grubbing promoter, Bob Arum, is behind it. He’s the promoter for both ManPac and Bradley.
