Jones stops Lebedev, wins WBA cruiserweight belt
Guillermo Jones of Panama regained the WBA cruiserweight title in his first fight since 2011, stopping local favorite Denis Lebedev in the 11th round Friday night.
Jones, who won the title in 2008 and then retained it twice, inflicted a horrific bruise around the Russian's right eye before flooring him near the ropes with 56 seconds left in the round.
