The ACC regular season is over and the last game of the regular season was quite the interesting one.  Maryland held as much as a 17 point lead and led by 13 at halftime, but even then you felt like Virginia had a chance.  I even tweeted at half that Virginia was going to win the game.  The Cavaliers did in fact go on to win in overtime, thanks in large part to a Maryland offense that was non-existent the last 30 minutes of the game.  With the win Virginia claimed the 4th seed and a coveted first round bye in the ACC tournament, leaving NC State with the 5th seed. Wake Forest also picked up a 90-79 win over Virginia Tech on Sunday.  While the Hokies lost, Erick Green scored 35 points and broke Virginia Tech's single season scoring record.  With the Wake Forest win, the Demon Deacons clinched a 10th seed leaving Virginia Tech with the 12th seed in the ACC tourney. Speaking of the ACC tournament, the seeds are out and our ACC Tournament Bracket Contest is up and running.  Go make your picks now.  Check out the highlights, links, and more below and don't forget to submit your picks for the ACC Tournament Bracket Contest Wake Forest/Virginia Tech Highlights Virginia/Maryland Highlights  Team Conf Pct Overall Pct  Miami  15-3  0.833  24-6  0.800  Duke  14-4  0.778  27-4  0.871  UNC  12-6  0.667  22-9  0.710  NC State  11-7  0.611  22-9  0.710  Virginia  11-7  0.611  21-10  0.677  FSU  9-9  0.500  17-14  0.548  Maryland  8-10  0.444  20-11  0.645  Boston College  7-11  0.389  15-16  0.484  Georgia Tech  6-12  0.333  16-14  0.533  Wake Forest  6-12  0.333  13-17  0.433  Clemson  5-13  0.278  13-17  0.433  Virginia Tech  4-14  0.222  13-18  0.419  Injury Report  John Auslander (MD) left tibia fracture - out for season Darion Atkins (VA) stress reaction in shins Links Maryland blows 17-pointlead in 61-58 OT loss at Virginia Cavaliers rally past Terrapins Terps come up empty-handed in Charlottesville Necessary step Harris motivates Deacons Green breaks scoring mark, but Virginia Tech falls to Wake Forest Virginia Tech AD Weaver satisfied with men’s and women’s basketball coaches Virginia still shooting for NCAA bid  Virginia’s Tobey recovers, and then delivers Virginia’s late-game strategy open to question Jacobs: Half-Baked Alaska UNC Game Proves Duke Needs Plumlee Yesterday's Games Matchup    Virginia Tech 79 @ Wake Forest 90  Box  Maryland 58 @ Virginia 61  Box Today's Games Time Matchup TV   No Games on the Schedule
