Seton Hall has blocked the transfer of center Kevin Johnson to Cal State-Northridge, according to a report today by Zagsblog writer Adam Zagoria.   Kevin Johnson has been blocked from going to Cal-State Northridge from Seton Hall, sources tell @snytv — Adam Zagoria (@AdamZagoria) June 11, 2013 It was announced yesterday that Johnson made the decision to leave the Pirates, with rumors swirling around a possible move back home to his native state of California. This didn’t come as a complete shock to Seton Hall fans — it was not the first time that Johnson had been tied to a possible transfer from the school.     Zagsblog.com reported yesterday that Johnson could end up at San Diego State, the school Seton Hall eventually beat out to sign Johnson out of high school two years ago. However, that rumor was quickly shot down by sources close to the San Diego State program.   Now, San Diego State is out of the picture, as well as Cal-State Northridge. To continue the process of trying to leave South Orange, Johnson will have to appeal to a committee outside of the Seton Hall athletic department.   Johnson has often been regarded as a fan favorite at the school, making it a no-brainer to keep him on the roster despite academic issues and other disputes with the coaching staff. Because of this, it comes as no surprise that Seton Hall is putting up a fight to keep the player Willard and others fought so hard to bring in two years ago.    I’m a personal fan of Kevin Johnson and what he brings to the Pirates. But, if he does not feel the same way about the school as the school feels about him, is it even worth keeping him?
