The number-two ranked Michigan State Fighting Izzos beat John Calipari’s top-ranked Kentucky freshmen 78-74 Tuesday in the Champions Classic.  Even though the number one team lost, it wasn’t an upset according to Vegas, which had the Spartans favored anywhere from two-and-a-half to four points. The one place it was an upset isn’t actually a place.  A group of Kentucky fans came together and created 40and0.com to celebrate Kentucky’s quest at a perfect season.  It took all of three games for their t-shirts and domain name to be garbage.  It was a nice thought though.  An arrogant, egotistical, presumptuous thought.  I wonder if Calipari was behind it. via 40and0.com [Thanks @SpartanFanEric]

Whoops! Michigan State ruined a Kentucky fan site quickly

Kentucky Wildcats fans are loyal. Delusional, too. No team has gone undefeated in college basketball since Bobby Knight’s Indiana Hoosiers back in 1976. Needless to say, nobody is foolish enough to actually think that their team will do that. Oh…Read more →

John Calipari Says His Players Were Crying After Loss

The young Cats made a great comeback in the second half, but fell short at the hands of Sparty. John Calipari stated before the game how unfair it was to face such an experienced team this early. Despite the inexperience, it was evident Kentucky felt they should have won. All I needed to know was what Calipari said in the postgame. “We had guys crying in there, which is a good...
